In the state of Minnesota there are no 9U tournaments. So the Albert Lea Knights 9AA team played their tournaments at the 10-year old level and finished in either 1st or 2nd place at every showing.
The team finished of their sucessful season by winning the 10A MBT State Tournament in Rosemount on July 10, 2011 after winning 7-consecutive games over the 40-team field.
